About 5 minutes from Cusipata, in the community of Paucarpata, we will enjoy a delicious buffet-style breakfast. Afterward, we will continue the final leg of our journey by bus to Phulawasipata. Upon arriving at the starting point of the hike, we will disembark and prepare to begin our trek.
Under the blue skies of the Peruvian Andes, we will start the trek to the Rainbow Mountain, located at over 5,200 meters above sea level. The distance between Phulawasipata and the Rainbow Mountain is approximately 3.5 kilometers. Along the way, we will witness countless natural landscapes typical of the high-altitude puna region, as well as herds of llamas and alpacas grazing under the care of local residents.
Finally, we will reach the viewpoint of the Rainbow Mountain, where we will marvel at the magic and charm of nature and the surrounding snow-capped peaks, capturing the best photos. The time spent at the summit will depend on weather conditions, typically ranging from 30 to 40 minutes.
After admiring the colors of this natural wonder from the summit, we will descend to Phulawasipata, where we will board our bus to return to Paucarpata for lunch.
